Home of the Qui-Gon Jinn Discussion List Since 1999
7-30-05 + The fanfic contest entries are in
and we need YOU to help judge them. Please enjoy and share your
opinion about these fine stories! + There is also some new fan art you don't want to miss.
6-18-05 + We're pleased to announce a fanfic contest open to all--click the link for all the details!
There will be fabulous prizes! Entry deadline July 25th. + I've also archived some new stories. + And I've further updated the FAQ
to answer questions about Qui-Gon in Episode III, and updated some other answers that
relate to that.
3-25-05 + Episode III is coming our way, so it's time for some spring
cleaning and a long overdue fanfic update!
There are 40 entirely new stories and updates on a number of others. + The FAQ now details Qui-Gon
appearances after the events of Episode I, and answers that
burning question, will he be in Episode III? + We now have a Java applet for connecting to our IRC Chat Room! + Also new and thrilling are a couple of
Olde Fashioned Web Novelties I've created for the Diversions section. You simply must
visit: Jedi Dance and The Really Big Pit Droid That Doesn't Do Ennathing!
+ The Fan Art
section, which had been more or less destroyed by our former web host, now includes some
of the old fan art which I was able to rescue from the Wayback Machine--thanks so much to
Tricia Stewart for the tip! + I've also updated the "More Qui"
page, which is a kind of links page directing you to specific solutions to your Qui-Gon
related wants and needs. + And if you wonder what I've been up to lately, or if you just
like horsies, take a peek at my equine
sculpture website/blog, Goodponies.com. One of my sculptures won an award
recently.
3-19-04 + Hello Cogswell students! Iain McCaig's storyboarding
lesson is here. + I'm going to be working on the past year's worth of fanfic and
will try to get caught up with that. Thank you so much for your patience! + A few people have emailed to ask what happened to the Fan Art.
Unfortunately, both the Fan Art and the Members pages got blasted into oblivion by my
former webhost, because those parts of the site had no backup. :-( But I've found a
handful of formerly unpublished fan art selections and posted
them. + I also weeded the dead links on the main links page. Qui-gonline
doesn't have much competition anymore as far as Qui-Gon fansites go... it was always a
niche market and now a vanishing one, but a bit sad to see some really nice sites
disappear forever. I guess there's always the Wayback
Machine.
